Contest to design a logo for 20th anniversary of ESN

Thu, 17/07/2008 - 12:07
<img style="border: 3px solid #f2c89c; margin: 3px" src="http://esn.org/site/files/uploaded/design-competition-bnr_sm.jpg" border="2" alt="logo" title="logo" width="160" height="57" align="left" />ESN will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year - participate in a contest to <strong>design a logo of the 20th anniversary</strong>. Get inspired by the ESN Corporate Design and send the proposal of your logo to vicepresident@esn.org until the end of August.

Year 2009 would mean 20 years of existence of our organisation - 20 years of work for international and exchange students, 20 years of fun and friendship, 20 years of great events and projects...

As it is a birthday of every single ESNer, let's celebrate it together - let's put together all our energy, all our skills, all our love for ESN and make it a great year. There is a lot to come - but first, we need a special logo for the 20th anniversary - a logo that would be used throughout a year as a symbol of the anniversary.

And who could be a better designer than the ESNers themselves?

Participate in the 20th anniversary logo contest, get inspired by the ESN Corporate Identity and send us your design until the end of August (formats: we accept .jpg, but please provide us with any vector formats, like .cdr and .ai). Afterwards, all the other members of ESN will have a chance to choose among the logos and select the one they like the best!

So what are you waiting for? Be the ONE whose logo is going around the Europe for the whole next year.

For more information or to send the logo designs, contact vicepresident@esn.org.

The 2008 edition of the ESNSurvey is launched. The main topic of this year is “Exchanging Cultures”.

As one of the core objectives of any exchange is to discover foreign cultures, integrate with local people and try to adapt to new cultural conditions, we think it is interesting to see if these processes really take place during a study period in a foreign country. The survey deals with topics such as cultural shock and its social implications, integration with local culture and people, intercultural skills learned etc.

The survey is open from June till August 2008.
